Blocks is a small content on right / left the website. Block can be a link menu or your code (html, javascript, etc.). If you still confused, what is blocks, please see the screen shot below. Content inside the red line on the screen shot is blocks.

Content is the website content. Content can be a text, picture, or both of them. Every content in your website is created through here, without them you cannot show anything on your website, so content is the base of every website. Every page have their own content. So, you must create it one by one.

This section is used to upload and manage your file (only uploaded files, not RSW files). On this section, you will see a page like this. If you want to upload file, click “Browse...”. Choose your file. And then click “Upload” to upload your file. Large size file may take some time to upload, depends to your internet connection.

Rocanowi Simple Website (RSW) is a simple CMS that can be used to make a simple website. It's called “simple” because RSW is simple and not confusing for anyone who doesn't familiar with CMS. (I hope... :-P) You can see the example of using RSW at my official website at (I'm using Indonesian Language, sorry for anyone who don't understand ;-)). That site already using RSW. For the demo, I haven't create one, just wait :-D.

First, you have to download the RSW script (donwload it here). Then, upload it to your server. Open your website from the browser and you will redirected to installer page, which look like this. Fill the text box with your setting. Database Host is where your server host MySQL. Usually “localhost”. Database Username and password is your database user setting. Database Name is the database you're using for RSW. You have to create database for RSW first.

To manage your website, first you need to login as administrator. Klik “Admin Login” on “Admin Menu” block (default position on the left, can be changed at setting). Then fill the user name and password box with your setting. Click “reset” to erase the text in the box or “login” to login as administrator.

If you has finished managing your website, don't forget to erase all your session by logout. Click “logout” on the “Admin Menu” block (default position on left, can be changed at setting) to end your session. By doing this your website is unmanageable, this will protect your content and setting. To manage it again, you can login again.

Menu is a link to go to another web page, can be internal page or external page. Menu can be place inside blocks on the left or right your website (it depends from where you place your block), or on the upper menu. On menu's menu, you will see a page like this. Upper Menu and Left / Right Menu is a menu that can be seen by everyone. Upper Menu will be placed on the upper your web page. Page title means a title to HTML. It wrote ”Page Title” on HTML. It will show up like this on your browser. This screenshot was taken when RSW is opened with Firefox. The page title in the screenshot is “Page Title”.

On setting, you will see this page. Page Title: set up your page title. If you didn't know what is page title, please click HERE for some information about page title. Admin menu place: choose where do you want admin menu positioned (left/right). This will affect “admin login” block too. To using Rocanowi Simple Website you will need: * Web server RSW run on any web server that support PHP and MySQL for database. RSW tested in my local server with specification: XAMPP Version 1.6.4 (for server), PHP Version 5.2.4, and MySQL 5.2. It run perfectly in that system.
