Menu

Menu is a link to go to another web page, can be internal page or external page. Menu can be place inside blocks on the left or right your website (it depends from where you place your block), or on the upper menu.

On menu's menu, you will see a page like this. Upper Menu and Left / Right Menu is a menu that can be seen by everyone. Upper Menu will be placed on the upper your web page. While the Left / Right Menu will be placed inside the blocks on the left / right your web page. Hidden Menu is the menu that cannot be seen by everyone (invisible), no mater where you place them, hidden menu will not be shown.

To add new menu, click “Add New” Button. You will be taken to edit menu page. See below for more information about edit menu. The edit page for add new menu is same when you edit a menu that have been created before.

When you edit or add new menu, you will taken to this page.

Title: the menu title. This title will be the text link and will be shown as link. So, make sure the title is right and can be easily read.

Type: the menu type. Internal Link will make the link to an internal content that have been created in content. External link will link to an URL.

Place: is the menu place. Up will make the menu shown in the upper menu, while Left / Right will shown the menu inside the blocks you've created.

Owner Block: is the block where the menu will be shown. Fill only if you choose Left / Right place.

Position: Position is a number to arrange the menu. It's input with integer. The more small the integer will make the menu shown first than the larger integer. Example: menu “Home” position is 0 and menu “About” position is 1. Then “Home” will be shown first followed by “About”.

Content: is the content you want to show on the web page. It will link to a content that you have been created before. Fill only if your menu's type is Internal Link.

URL: it will be linked to an URL you enter here. You can enter another website URL, another page on your website, or link to your file. Fill only if your menu's type is External Link.

Open in new windows/tab?: “True” will add your link with “target=_blank”, that means your link will be opened in new windows/tab. “False” will make your link opened in that page.

Hidden: Determine whether your block is hidden or not. Choose “No” to make it visible or “Yes” to make it invisible.

After you finished editing the information. Click “Update Data” to save it. Or you can also click “Reset” to reset the information before you edit it. Or click “Cancel” to cancel the add/edit process.

To delete a menu, click “Delete” on action at menu page. After that, you will taken to this page. Click “Yes” to delete it. Remember, you cannot restore block that have been deleted. Or click “No” to cancel the deletion process. If you didn't use a menu, but you don't want to delete it, you can try to hidden them.
